Screen 100% (Can't remember where i got the brush from, i think it was </a></b></a>

Great Tutorial. The instructions are sooo clear and easy for once. Some tutorials confuse the hell out of me.

amazing tutorial. but how do you make the text "strong"? i tried adding text to mine, but it's so small its all blurry and doesnt even look like small unreadable words..any idea how to fix that?

I figured out how to do everything, except the last bit...

Everytime I tried screen with the 2 black brushes, I could never get the picture to show through. I'm really new at making icons, and I don't really know how to do a lot of things in Photoshop yet, so if you could tell me what menus to go to and stuff that would be wonderful.

maybe you could set it to darken?

If that doesn't help, the first black & white screen layer is a basic black on white gradient, you could try to make a similar gradient and use that..

and the second one: Just cut the black part (make sure you open it in a transparent image), you could use the magic wand tool to do that.

I wish i had a better answer..well, good luck!
